The heart desire of the Senior Care Ministry  is to show the love of Christ to those living in rest homes who are sick in their bodies, lonely, and confused. We pray that they will be encouraged by the power of God's Word, and that they will have God's peace during a time of uncertainty.

Twice a month we have services at Woodland Skilled Nursing Facility. During these services we sing praise songs to the Lord, share encouraging words, and pray over the needs of the people. Over the course of the last two years we have established relationships with the residents of Woodland Skilled so that we are better able to meet their needs. Some members of the Senior Care Ministry also visit one-on-one with residents at Alderson Convalescent Hospital on a weekly basis, and have developed strong friendships there.
