Evangelism is the major emphasis at Church On The Rock. We outreach to our community in various ways:

  • Trunk-or-Treat Fall Festival
  • Annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner
  • And more!
Here are some pictures of how we reached our community with the love of Jesus Christ last November. Our annual free dinner is held at the Yolo Co. Fairgrounds. We fed almost 1300 people and gave away 150 boxes of food that included a frozen turkey!

Mexico Missions Trips

Nearly every summer for the last six years, COTR has taken groups of people down to Ensenada, Mexico to minister. This missions trip is a great opportunity for people to get a feel for life in a third world country as we visit orphanages, rehab centers, and shantytowns located in and around the Ensenada area. While most organizations go to Mexico to build houses or serve with other construction services, our group does street ministry: praise and worship, games, testimonies, and a call for salvation. We also do food, toy, and hygienic product giveaways at many locations.

2011 Trunk-or-Treat

In 2011, Church On The Rock hosted our second Trunk or Treat fall festival for the community. With free games, prizes, and candy, children of all ages had a great time. We had a classic car show and a prize to the favorite classic car and the favorite decorated car. It was lots of fun and hundreds of people came out to share a great day!

Super Saturday

A Super Saturday is an event that promotes the gospel of Jesus Christ. Super Saturday events takes the church out into the community to minister to people who otherwise might not attend a church service. Our mission is to show people that Jesus did not come to take their fun away, just their pain and that it's not about religion, it's about a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Super Saturday outreaches promote the gospel through puppet shows, plays, music, games, barbecues, snow cones and more.
