Sundays at 10am
630 Cottonwood St. | Woodland, CA | 95695

We believe that Sundays are a celebration of what God is doing in our lives. Every Sunday you will experience a welcoming atmosphere, passionate worship, and a relevant teaching from the Bible.

Visiting a new church can be intimidating

We completely agree. How do I dress? What do I do when I enter? How long is the service? Below are some answers to frequently asked questions.

Where do my kids go?

COTR Kids is a safe, fun environment for kids to hangout together and learn about Jesus. It is offered during our Sunday service for ages birth-5th grade. When you arrive, make your way to the COTR Kids check-in booth to check your kids in––this is to ensure the safest environment possible. Then you will be directed to the appropriate class to drop your child off with our trained, background-checked kids team. Children ages four through first grade as well as our middle and high school students worship with us in the sanctuary before being dismissed to classes for their age groups.

What's a service like?

Services begin at 10am and typically last 60-75 minutes. We have a time of worship that may be louder than typical "church music." We are passionate about making our time of worship musically and spiritually excellent––not for the benefit of the musicians but to meet with God through our times of singing together. Worship lasts for about 25 minutes. After our worship time there is a time of preaching. The sermon usually lasts about 30-35 minutes. If you would like to hear a sample of a message at COTR, check our our Listen Online page.

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

We take an offering through collection box located at the exit doors. If you're visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering. If you consider COTR your church home, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving. You can give by check or cash at a service, or you can set up an online giving account at cotrwoodland.org/give.

What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are excited you're here and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's great! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.
