After a long day, one familiar song stopped me in my tracks, “Heart of Worship” by Matt Redman. As the lyrics played, my to-do list faded, and I was reminded that worship isn’t about performance or perfection, it’s about presence.
In the Old Testament, only the high priest could enter the Holy of Holies once a year to meet with God. Today, we have full access to His presence anytime we seek Him wholeheartedly. Yet so often, we hold back.
What would it look like to worship without hesitation? To set everything else aside, lift our hands, and join creation in praise? The waves, the wind, even the rocks cry out in worship. Maybe it’s time we did too.
